Well, we've had another great day of diving in beautiful Cozumel. Our 1st dive was at Punta Sur Cathedral and was about a 130 foot dive. This is too deep for may nice photos, but it was a good dive and now we can say "been there, done that."

Our 2nd dive was at La Francisca Reef (French Lady Reef) and was only 60 feet and higher. We saw many wonderful sights here and took several photos. We've posted only a few here, so as not to bore you, but we have many more. Also, I am going to try and post a short movie of a shark (I thought Thatcher and Ashtyn would like that). I hope it works. I think the video will show up at the bottom of the page, but I'm not sure. Please give us your comments.

Sea Biscuit (Reva)
Black Angel Sea Scape (Mitch)
Black Angel (Reva)
Squirrel Fish (Reva...her favorite reef fish)
Female Parrot Fish (Mitch)
Male Parrot Fish (Mitch)
Blister Worm (Reva)
Angel Fish (Mitch)
Splendid Toad Fish (Mitch)
Grunts (Reva)
Small Anenome & Sponge Sea Scape (Mitch)

This is a video of one of the two large nurse shark we saw on our second dive. They are non-agressive and eat mainly planktan (not people). I named the movie "Shark, Come and Get Me" and you'll see why. We also saw a very large (eight or so feet long) reef shark on our first dive, but the depth did not allow for photos or movies. It's the first "real" shark we've ever seen down here. As soon as he saw us, he turned and took off for even deeper water.
Sorry, but after almost 3 hours, this 40 second video had still not uploaded properly and suddenly the internet connection failed, so if you want to see it you'll have to let me know so I can email it to you. Welcome to Mexico! Ha.

  1. Great pictures! Can't wait to see the video. Tell Mom to listen to her computer. That deep dive could throw a kink into what her plans are for tomorrow!!!

  2. I wish we could have seen Video, but guess we will have to wait to see it. Pictures are still good. The Angel Fish looked like some sort of snake. Everything here okay. Watered inside plants today.
